To promote a sustainable development in the power sector in Palestine, PPGC has adopted the following objectives:
 

• Build power generation infrastructure in Palestine.
   
• Reduce dependence on imported energy sources.
   
• Meet the growing shortage and increasing demand on power supply.
   
• Create domestic market for natural gas and anchor the development of Palestine off-shore natural gas field.
   
• Transfer of knowledge and knowhow in the fields of developing, constructing and operating utility scale power plant.
   
•  Create hundreds of job opportunities for Palestinian technicians and engineers.
